Syngenta Nordic Live is an online webinar series broadcasted live from Zoom and Facebook. The webinar is divided into three sesions, covering topics such as winter prepping, how to avoid grass damage and how to minimize disease. The topics are planned and assembled with the goal of beeing prepared for the coming autumn and winter period. Part one of the webinar starts on the 24th of September, so clear your schedule. 24th September: Benefits of Hicure and amino acids in turf The first event will focus on the benefits of using amino acids. Amino acids and biostimulants relieves unwanted and harmfull stress in the plant. The stronger the plant, the less chance for fungal attacks settling during the winter break.
8th of October: Use of Ryder turf pigment in autumn programmes The second event we focus on turf pigments, especially in the autumn/winter programs. Applying pigments in combination with fungicide products will increase the intended effect.
22nd of October: Use of covers for overwinter survival Our third event will focus on a hot subject recent years in the Nordic countries; Use of covers for overwinter survival. More and more greenkeepers and golf courses are using this method, and the interest among greenkeepers is increasing.
All events will be hosted by Lars Tveter, Business Manager, Turf Nordics. With presentations by experienced participants from Syngenta Turf and with guest speakers; Veronica De Luca, Mark Sheridan and Torbjörn Pettersson, greenkeeper of the year in Sweden. Each presentation will last approximately 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes Q&A sessions. The events will be conducted in english.
